Methodist Church Projects 2009 - 2012
East Finchley Methodist Church and Finchley Methodist Church provided grants and raised additional funds during special services which have been used on the following projects.

1. Gwira Circuit- in Sekondi Diocese
This rural Circuit needs support for equipping existing churches, building new churches, vehicles, payment of stipends, developing rubber plantations etc.

2. Kojo Ashong Methodist Primary School - in Accra Diocese
This newly built school in a rural village near Accra the capital needs lots of equipment and repairs. This was the first school in the area. The project was the personally promoted and supported by the Bishop of Accra.
3. BSSRD Board of Social Responsibility and Rural Development
This division helps support various projects around the country.
1) Nutrition, gender & HIV/AIDS
2) Training & finance
3) Water, sanitation & hygiene
4) Foster homes
5) Relief distribution and transport.
Water purifiers. Cost £25 each.
4. Lawra Methodist Health Clinic and Orphanage
This valuable work in Northern Ghana is based in a very deprived area, general lack of work, health, school and transport facilities.
Based in the Upper West Region of Ghana, in the town of Lawra. Marjorie, is the director of Lawra Methodist Integrated Health Project. It has three main areas of
work:
1) A malnutrition centre serving mothers and their children,
2) An orphanage for about 30 HIV affected orphans,
3) And a support group for 50 people living with HIV/AID including medical care,
insurance, nutritional supplements, and work.
