Hiring Premises at EFM
Rooms are available for hire at East Finchley Methodist Church. All areas, except the North and South Rooms, are fully accessible to those with disabilities.
The room rates are shown below. Discounts are available for repeat and long term bookings. There is a minimum charge of 1.5 hours. A key deposit of £20 is charged refundable upon the return of the keys within 48 hours from the end of the event or by arrangement with the Lettings Officer. A refundable cautionary deposit may be charged depending upon the nature of the letting.
We regret that we are unable to host parties or meetings where alcohol is to be served. Gambling (including raffles and tombolas) is not permitted.
We can only accept bookings for worship, prayer meetings and Bible study for Christian groups that are members of the World Council of Churches.

The Sanctuary
The Sanctuary is the space that is used by the church for worship. It is a large flexible area suitable for meetings, dance and exercise, concerts, drama and exhibitions. The floor is carpeted. A grand piano is available for hire separately. Consumption of food or drink is not permitted in this area.
Capacity: 150 seated, 200 standing.

The Fellowship Room
The Fellowship Room is a smaller flexible space with a washable floor. It is suitable for meetings, children's parties, play space and serving refreshments.
Capacity: 30 seated, 35 standing.

The Kitchen
The Kitchen is available for hire separately.
Room rate £20 per session. A separate deposit of £20 is charged, refundable provided the room is left clean and tidy.
The Middle Room
The Middle Room is a small space suitable for small meetings, play space or quiet room, changing room. It has its own sink.
Capacity: 15 seated (10 if a table is used), 15 standing.

North Room
The North Room is currently not available to hire.
South Room
The room is situated at the top of two flights of stone steps and are not suitable for those with limited mobility. It can be used as a meeting room and school/lecture room. It has its own kitchenette and whiteboard. The room is carpeted.
Capacity: 20 seated (15 if a table is used), 25 standing.
